Ping Wei

Ping Wei is the Senior Director of Information Security Operations at Stanford University, where they focus on team building and enterprise information security. Previously, Ping held various roles at SRI International, including Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations, where they managed corporate IT services and transformed a struggling IT group into an efficient support team. Earlier in their career, they worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as the Assistant Technical Group Supervisor, building a large team of system administrators and leading significant infrastructure projects. Ping is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from National Taiwan Normal University.
