Sofia Hebel

Sofia Hebel is an accomplished founder and leader with a commitment to wellness and support for marginalized communities. As the Founder of Global Yoga Foundation, Sofia has raised over $5,000 for organizations aiding women affected by domestic violence in Mexico. At Stanford University, Sofia co-founded the Calmify app, utilizing AI and neuroscience to address anxiety through yoga and meditation. With a focus on research, Sofia led a study on mindfulness meditation and PTSD while collaborating with experts in the field. Additional roles include Editor in Chief of an award-winning school newspaper, Co-President of the Doctors Without Borders student chapter, and a certified yoga instructor.
