Zakir Durumeric

Zakir Durumeric currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University since September 2018 and as Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Censys since September 2017. In 2023, Zakir joined zeroRISC as a Board Member. Previously, Zakir was a Visiting Researcher at the International Computer Science Institute from 2015 to 2017 and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2017. Zakir began the career as a Systems Administrator and Programmer II at the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2011 and as a Systems Administrator at WiderNet from 2003 to 2006. Educationally, Zakir earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
