Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GridStor, a company focused on deploying flexible grid-connected batteries to facilitate the transition to a clean energy grid across North America. Additionally, Chris holds the position of Independent Board Director and Chair of the Human Resources Committee at Stanley Consultants. Previous roles include Data Center Energy Strategy and Portland Site Lead at Google, where responsibilities encompassed carbon-free energy supply strategy and leadership of a 150+ person office, as well as managing investments in renewable energy projects. Experience also includes serving as Executive Director of the West Coast Infrastructure Exchange, Chief Development Officer at Element Power, Director of Development at EDP Renewables North America, and various leadership roles in environmental policy and project management. Chris holds a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College.
