Eric Cabrol

Head of robot engineering at Stanley Robotics

Eric Cabrol has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Eric is currently employed as the Head of Robot Engineering at Stanley Robotics since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Renault starting in 2011. At Renault, they held various roles, including Project Manager for the development of a new simulation software for vehicle dynamics in partnership with Siemens Digital Industries Software. Eric also worked on Chassis NVH & Durability, focusing on road noise FEA and addressing questions related to chassis design. Before joining Renault, Eric worked at EURODECISION as an Automated Structural Optimization specialist. Eric also gained experience at Medysys, where they worked on chassis durability for Renault Sport Technologies and body in white structural analysis for Renault. Eric started their career as a Research Engineer at Pôle Universitaire Leonard de Vinci.

Eric Cabrol completed their secondary education at Lycee Carnot, where they obtained their Bac degree in "C" in 1990. Following this, they enrolled at ISAE-Supméca – Institut supérieur de mécanique de Paris in 1992 and graduated in 1995 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1995-1996, they pursued further studies at Pierre and Marie Curie University, earning a DEA degree in Solids, structures, and mechanical systems.
