Janet M. Link

JANET LINK is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Stanley Black & Decker where she is responsible for all legal and corporate compliance matters.

Prior to Stanley Black & Decker in June 2017, Janet served as EVP, General Counsel at J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Before joining J.C. Penney, she was the deputy general counsel at Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc., and CC Media Holdings, Inc. (now known as iHeartMedia) and a partner at Latham & Watkins. She began her legal career with a U.S. District Court clerkship in the Central District of California followed by a clerkship with the Honorable James R. Browning, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth District.

Janet earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Yale University and earned her juris doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law.
