Rachel Fitzgerald

Rachel Fitzgerald is a seasoned lighting design professional with extensive experience at Stantec since August 2017, where roles have included Senior Principal and Discipline Lead in Lighting. Prior positions at RNL involved serving as Senior Associate and Senior Lighting Designer from October 2003 to July 2017. Rachel is also the co-host of the Whelmed Podcast and has been a WELL advisor for the International WELL Building Institute since January 2020, focusing on the WELL Light Concept Advisory. Additionally, Rachel has contributed to academia as a lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder from January 2019 to May 2024. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2002, following earlier education at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory High School.
