Balazs Bagyinszki

Balazs Bagyinszki has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of health, safety, and environmental management. Balazs started their career in 2005 as an Environmental Inspector at Kozep-Duna-volgyi Environmental Authority, where they coordinated permit procedures and conducted company inspections. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an HSE Advisor at K&B Ltd, providing support and representation for companies in the areas of environmental, health, and safety.

Bagyinszki then joined MOL Group in 2011 as an HSE Specialist, focusing on health, safety, and environmental matters. Balazs later joined Sealed Air Corporation in 2013 as an Environment, Health, and Safety Manager, where they held responsibilities for managing health and safety practices within the company. In 2016, they briefly served as a WHS Consultant at BB WHS Consulting.

Bagyinszki's most recent position is with Stanwell Corporation Limited, where they have held multiple roles since 2017. Balazs started as a Health and Safety Advisor and later transitioned to the role of a Coal Combustion Products Advisor. In this position, their key tasks include managing Stanwell's customer portfolio and overseeing the beneficial reuse of coal combustion products. Balazs is also involved in projects aimed at improving the utilization ratio of these products across the company's sites.

Balazs Bagyinszki pursued their education at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they completed a post-graduate degree in work health and safety, focusing on the field of work health and safety.

Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, Bagyinszki attended the University of Pecs, Pollack Mihaly Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. Balazs obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, specializing in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Bagyinszki has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Some of these certifications include Applied Suicide Intervention Skills - ASIST from MATES in Energy in October 2020, Workplace monitoring from Simtars in November 2018, and Integrated Environment, Health & Safety and Quality Lead Auditor from The Systems 3 Group in December 2017.

Balazs has also received certifications in Enter and Work in Confined Space, Work Safely at Heights, and Senior First Aid from Allens Training in July and May 2017, respectively. Moreover, Bagyinszki acquired a Return to Work Coordinator certification from CHG (Corporate Health Group) in January 2016 and a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety from the Line Management Institute of Training in February 2015.
