General Manager Financial Planning And Analysis at Stanwell

Claire Olson has a range of experience in tax and treasury functions, as well as accounting and advisory roles. Claire worked at Stanwell Corporation Limited from 2012 onwards, starting as a Senior Taxation Accountant. Claire then progressed to become a Senior Advisor in Technical Tax and eventually a Manager in Tax & Treasury, where they were responsible for managing liquidity, funding, interest rate, foreign exchange, and tax risks. Claire also provided technical accounting and tax advice to support strategic projects and transactions. Prior to their time at Stanwell Corporation, Claire worked at Bentleys Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors as a Manager from 2004 to 2012.

Claire Olson attended The University of Queensland from 2003 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Accounting from the same university. In 2009 and 2010, Claire enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia to complete a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.
