Russell Vorpagel

Russell Vorpagel has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Russell started their career at Gladstone Power Station in 1992 as a Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 1993. Russell then joined Tarong Power Station in 1993 and held the position of Mechanical Engineer for a duration of 10 years. In 2003, they joined Stanwell Corporation Limited as the Mechanical Engineering Superintendent and is still currently employed there.

Russell Vorpagel completed their education in a chronological order. Russell first attended Ipswich State High School from 1973 to 1978, although no degree or specific field of study was mentioned for this period. Following that, they enrolled at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from 1983 to 1990. Lastly, Russell Vorpagel completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Power Engineering at The University of Queensland from 2007 to 2009.
