Gerald Gumtang

Gerald Gumtang has extensive experience in managerial roles at STAPLES Canada, starting as a Computers and Business Machines Consultant in 1994 and progressing to General Manager, responsible for driving sales and profitability and aligning store strategies with company objectives. Previous positions at STAPLES include Sales Manager, Service Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, and Assistant Service Manager, each focusing on enhancing sales culture, service areas management, and operational efficiency. Prior to STAPLES, Gerald worked at Superstore as a Photo Lab Technician and served as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board. Gerald holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Exeter, a certificate in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Oslo, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the Philippines.
