Vera Lam

Vera Lam, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Vera began their career at PwC in 2007 as a Co-op Expatriate Tax Associate and later became a Senior Associate, working at the company until 2013. Vera then joined Canadian Tire Corporation and held various positions, including Senior Financial Analyst, Manager of Merchandise Accounting, Manager of Canadian Tire Retail FP&A, and Manager of Consumer Brands FP&A. Vera worked at Canadian Tire Corporation until 2021 when they joined Staples Canada as the Director of FP&A (Sales and Margin). Alongside their professional roles, Vera also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from 2007 to 2009.

Vera Lam, CPA, CA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration with High Distinction in Accounting at the University of Toronto Scarborough from 2005 to 2009. Vera later obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountant Ontario in 2012.
