Amer Abulaila

Amer Abulaila is an accomplished technology leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in digital transformation and technology strategy. As the Founder and CEO of Staq since January 2024, Amer previously served as CEO of Finto from March 2021 to December 2023 and as Chief Technology Officer at Bank-al-Etihad from November 2016 to December 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing digital strategies and end-to-end customer journeys. Prior roles include co-founding and serving as CTO at MarkaVIP, where technology strategies and infrastructure were developed to drive growth, and leading technical operations at Erum Creative Productions as CTO.
