Juha Christensen

Juha Christensen is the current Founder and Chairman at Star. Juha has an extensive background in the business world, holding various notable positions at different companies throughout their career. Some of these companies include Blazar Capital, byFounders, Netcompany, Bang & Olufsen, Pelican Imaging Corporation, CloudMade, and Brandworkz. Christensen's time at Pelican Imaging Corporation was especially impactful, where they held the title of Board Member from April 2012 to November 2016. It was during this time that Pelican developed a breakthrough in computational imaging and array cameras, securing over 100 patents. This new technology directly addressed the challenges posed by conventional camera design and small pixels by producing a much thinner in-phone camera capable of depth sensing as well as producing better quality images. In November 2016, Pelican was acquired by Xperia. Following their time at Pelican, Juha went on to become the Chairman at Brandworkz from February 2008 to November 2017. Brandworkz is a brand management software that helps some of the best known businesses in the world manage their brands. Customers of Brandworkz include Eurostar, Boots, Sony Ericsson, ArcelorMittal, US Army and Red Bull. Their solution powers Brand Workflow & Approval, Reporting & Analysis, Digital Asset Management, Guidelines & Positioning, Best Practice Sharing and Web-to-Print.

Juha Christensen has an Executive MBA from London Business School. Juha studied Business Administration, but did not complete the program.
