SMITA SHARMA

Smita Sharma has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. SMITA started their career as a Lab Technician at Deepak Memorial Hospital in March 2003. SMITA then moved on to work as a Phlebotomist at Pathnet Pvt Ltd from October 2003 to February 2005. Smita joined Metropolis Healthcare Ltd in March 2005 as a Section Head, where they were responsible for HR requirements such as staff attendance, rosters, new joining, formalities, leave management, and induction. SMITA conducted interviews, prepared job descriptions, and handled reimbursements. Their most recent role was as an Operations Manager at STAR IMAGING AND PATH LAB since May 2014. In this role, they managed a team of 50 members, oversaw roster and leave management, conducted interviews and inductions, prepared job descriptions, and handled reimbursements. SMITA also ensured that samples received in the labs were in appropriate conditions and received in a timely manner.

Smita Sharma completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Punjab Technical University between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Medical Lab technology with a specialization in Pathology from YWCA from 2001 to 2003.
