Dongyun Kwon

Dongyun Kwon is a Cadet Journalist at Star News Group since August 2023, with a diverse background in journalism that includes roles as a Journalism Intern at Team Monash, where participation was centered around the Indigenous Games event, and a brief internship at The Canberra Times. Kwon has served as a Video Editor for The Struggle and as a Reporter with section editing responsibilities in gaming and sports at Mojo News. Previous experience includes a 3-week internship at ABC News breakfast and retail saleswork at The Original Lolly Store. Military service was completed with the Republic of Korea Army as a squad leader, administrator, driver, and mechanic. Dongyun Kwon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Monash University, completing the degree between July 2017 and June 2023, along with a Canadian International Matriculation Programme from Sunway College.
