Mikayla van Loon

Mikayla van Loon is an experienced journalist currently working at Star News Group since February 2021. Prior to this role, Mikayla completed an internship at Mornington Peninsula News Group in late 2020, contributing to the Peninsula Essence magazine and writing articles for Peninsula Kids. Mikayla also gained experience as an editorial intern at The Canberra Times and The Age, where various articles were written and researched. Earlier experience includes a three-year tenure as an administrative assistant at Landscape Plus, where responsibilities included data entry, invoicing, and client communications. Mikayla is a graduate of RMIT University, having completed studies from 2017 to 2020.
