Daniel McMullen

Daniel McMullen holds the role of Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development at Star Plastics. With over 30 years of experience in specialty chemicals and advanced materials industries, Dan has held multiple leadership positions in various functional departments including finance, corporate development, and general management. He has international mergers and acquisitions experience ranging from deal sourcing and valuations through closings and integrations.

Dan holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an MBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University. He also is certified in Lean Tools Implementation and as a Six Sigma Blackbelt.

As VP of Finance and Corporate Development, Dan will be responsible for the financial wellness and functions of Star, as well as for the accurate reporting of the company’s financial status for each business segment to the leadership team. He will also play a critical role in all M&A activities in partnership with the CEO. With his experience working in large and small, public, private and start-up companies, Dan will be a great fit to support Star’s aggressive growth plans.
