Lauren Kaplan

Lauren joined Star Strong Capital from Credit Suisse where she was an Associate in the Investment Banking Technology group. Prior to pursuing her MBA, Lauren worked in the Hedge Fund and Asset Management industry, most recently as a VP in the Investor Relations and Business Development group at Kinneret Group. Lauren previously worked at AllianceBernstein, D.E. Shaw & Co., LP, and Paloma Partners Management in portfolio management and compliance roles and began her career in digital marketing at Havas Media Group.

Lauren serves on the Associate Board of the Bowery Mission, a New York-based 501(c)3 focused on serving homeless and hungry New Yorkers and providing services that meet their immediate needs and help transform their lives. Lauren has an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Chinese, Spanish, and Psychology from Tufts University.
