Matt Perkins has a diverse background in music business, promotions, and event management. Currently serving as Partnerships and Events Manager at Star Tribune since May 2018, Matt has extensive experience in organizing events and securing partnerships. With a strong foundation in marketing from Minnesota Public Radio, where Matt worked from January 2008 to May 2018 in various roles, including Marketing Manager for The Current, Matt has also contributed to several festivals and events. Notable positions include Executive Director for the Clapperclaw Music & Arts Festival, Booking Manager at Nomad World Pub, and Trivia Host with Trivia Mafia. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Business and Public Relations from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, attained in 2006.
