Dr.ketan Khona

Dr. Ketan Khona has a comprehensive work experience in the insurance industry, with notable positions held at various companies. Dr.Ketan started their career at Paramount/Health India TPA Industry as an Assistant Manager in 2002. Dr.Ketan then moved on to ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited as a Manager from 2005 to 2007. Subsequently, they joined TATA AIG as a Senior Manager in Underwriting from 2007 to 2014. Following this, Dr. Khona assumed the position of Head of Underwriting and Risk Management at Exide Life Insurance from 2014 to 2015. Dr.Ketan then transitioned to IndiaFirst Life, where they held the roles of Vice President in Head Underwriting and Claims from 2015 to 2021, and later as Vice President in Head Underwriting, New Business, and Group Ops until 2021. Currently, Dr. Ketan Khona serves as the Senior Vice President, leading the Customer Onboarding Unit and Chief Underwriter at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited from 2021.

Dr. Ketan Khona completed their Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the University of Mumbai. Dr.Ketan also obtained their ALMI and ACS degrees from LOMA.
