Woody Donahue has been working in the video production industry since 2011. Woody began their career at Beyond Pix Studios as an Assistant Editor and worked their way up to Director of Post Production. In 2017, they began freelancing as a Video Editor for Seeker Media and Maffick. In 2018, they were hired as a Post Producer for Maffick and was responsible for editing short-form videos for social media, coordinating post-production workflows between three global offices, and managing a small team. In 2019, they were hired as a Junior Video Producer for StartupTV, where they shot and edited short-form videos for a multi-platform news channel, led motion graphic design for all brand elements, and operated camera for weekly live webcasts. In 2020, they were hired as a Lead Motion Designer for Popcore, where they created short video ads for mobile games, created custom 2D and 3D animations in After Effects and Unity, and analyzed performance data on Facebook Ads and AppLovin. Currently, they are a Senior Motion Designer at StarBerry Games, where they create short video ads for the mobile game "Merge Mayor", creates custom 2D and 3D animations using Blender, Maya, After Effects and Unity, and leads group ideation sessions for new concepts.

Woody Donahue obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts between 2005 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Maya 2023 Essential Training from LinkedIn in October 2022.
