Spencer Crittenden is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in development and production across various entertainment projects. Currently employed at Starburns Industries since August 2020, Spencer has held multiple roles, including Executive Producer and Showrunner, overseeing the innovative animated series Harmonquest. Prior experience includes serving as a Creative Producer for the nonprofit KızBaşına, where efforts focused on creating awareness around women's issues in Turkey. Notably, Spencer worked as a Creative Consultant at Wevr on the VR project Gnomes&Goblins, directly contributing to design improvements under tight deadlines. Additionally, Spencer's journey began as an Executive Assistant to renowned creator Dan Harmon, managing complex communications and projects. Spencer holds an Associate's degree from Moorpark College.

Starburns Industries is an innovative and imaginative full-service production company, specializing in stop-motion, traditional 2D, and CG animation. In addition to specialized live-action projects, the studio creates groundbreaking animation for film, television and new media distribution. Starburns IndustriesSpanning two buildings in Burbank and over thirty thousand square feet of production space, facilities include a dedicated puppet fabrication shop, massive set construction space, 3D printing and prototyping, state-of-the-art voiceover recording and ADR studio, motion control, editorial, VFX and complete post-production and delivery services. Starburns Industries was launched in the Summer of 2010 under the partnership of Dan Harmon (NBC’s “Community,” Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty”), Dino Stamatopoulos (Adult Swim’s “Moral Orel,” “Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole”), Joe Russo II (“The Simpsons,” “Rug Rats”), and James A. Fino (“King of the Hill”). The company immediately began work on a stop-motion animated special for NBC’s “Community,” entitled “Abed’s Uncontrollable Christmas.” The critically acclaimed holiday special won an Emmy Award© for outstanding Achievement in Character Animation and opened the doors to commercials, new pilots and more new media work. Most notably, season two of “Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole” on Adult Swim, a reboot of Moral Orel called “Beforel Orel,” and Adult Swim’s pick-up and season two renewal of the 2D animated sitcom “Rick and Morty,” created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Starburns Industries is also in production on Charlie Kaufman’s “Anomalisa,” a groundbreaking stop-motion feature film, co-directed by Duke Johnson and Charlie Kaufman, and produced by Rosa Tran.
