Kobi Luz

Kobi Luz is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Starburst since June 2022. Prior to this role, Kobi Luz was the Lead System Architect at Varada, focusing on innovative big data analytics solutions. Kobi Luz held significant positions at Dell EMC XtremIO, including Director of Software Development, overseeing a core development group of over 70 engineers, and contributing to the development of the XtremIO product. Kobi Luz also played vital roles at Sun Microsystems, managing the TV Client Middleware Team and serving as a technical expert for the J2ME-CDC platform. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at Topio and Charlotte's Web Networks, developing critical software applications. Kobi Luz earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
