Maanul S.

Maanul S. is a seasoned application security professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. At Starburst since November 2024, Maanul focuses on application security. Prior to this, Maanul served as the Manager and Head of Application Security at MURAL from March 2021 to November 2024, and held positions as a Sr. Security Engineer at Google and Looker between February 2020 and March 2021. Maanul's earlier roles include Sr. Security Engineer and Security Engineer at Zendesk, where responsibilities involved managing bug bounty programs and conducting security assessments, as well as a Software Engineer I in eBay's Product Security Team. Maanul began a career in security as a Product Security Intern at eBay and previously interned at Praetorian. Maanul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 2009 and 2013.
