Valentin Michaelis has a diverse work experience in the field of performance and programmatic advertising. Valentin began their career as a trainee in performance marketing at iProspect in 2012 and later worked at PHD Germany GmbH as an executive and senior executive in performance marketing from 2014 to 2016. Valentin then moved on to a role as the group manager of activation digital (programmatic advertising) at PHD Germany GmbH from 2016 to 2018. Valentin joined Publicis Media in 2018 as the group head of programmatic advertising and held this position until 2022. Currently, they are working as the head of performance strategy at Starcom. Additionally, Valentin has had previous internship experiences in project management and social media marketing at NIDAG GmbH and Vodafone, respectively.
Valentin Michaelis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Management from Hochschule RheinMain from 2007 to 2011. In 2010 to 2011, they also completed an Auslandssemester at the Institute of International Studies Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, Thailand, focusing on Business Administration and Mass Communication Technology. In 2011 to 2012, they attended the Roberts School of Languages in Kunming, China, where they pursued language instruction in Chinese and obtained the HSK3 (third language level of the Chinese language examination).
