David Sampson

David Sampson has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analysis. David is currently employed as a Business Intelligence Developer at StarCompliance since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a BI & Analytics Consultant at Civica from May 2022 to August 2022.

From August 2019 to May 2022, David served as a Principal Business Intelligence Developer at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, they provided a professional BI service to Trust Executives and Clinicians, creating informative reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft Power BI. David also developed information reporting systems, databases, and automated dashboards to support the Trust and its divisions.

Before that, David worked at NHS Wirral CCG from April 2017 to August 2019. Initially as a Database Developer, they maintained and developed data stores and integrated services (SSIS) for data analysis. Later, they served as a Performance Analyst, analyzing and processing NHS-related data and providing support in maintaining and developing information reports. Additionally, they worked as a Data Analyst, assisting in the development and management of data collection, storage, and analysis processes.

From November 2013 to June 2015, David was a UK Rehabilitation Outcome Collaborative Administrator at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust.

David Sampson completed their high school education at Sacred Heart Catholic College from 2003 to 2010. Following this, they pursued higher education at The University of Bolton from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an HND degree in Business Software Development.

In addition to their formal education, David also holds a certification as a Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, which they obtained from Microsoft in February 2022.
