Matt Lucas

Matt Lucas is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Field CTO for Stardog since March 2024, Lucas specializes in helping Financial Services leaders leverage the potential of conversational knowledge graphs and data solutions. Prior to this role, Lucas spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley, first as Executive Director overseeing technology delivery for Operational Risk, Finance, and Compliance, and earlier as Vice President managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance solution development. Lucas's background includes roles at IBM as a Solution Architect and Senior Technical Consultant, where strategic direction was provided to clients, and experience at OpenPages, designing and delivering custom technology solutions for multinational financial and insurance companies. Matt Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Xavier University, earned in 2006.
