Jose Medina

Jose Medina has a diverse work experience spanning various finance and accounting roles. Jose is currently working as the Head of Finance at Stardust, where they have been since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Controller at Stardust from December 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Stardust, Jose was the Founder of Bay Area Disco since January 2015. Jose also worked as a Senior Accounting Manager at Xcell Biosciences from July 2018 to December 2021. Jose has experience as a Financial Controller at Yondr from April 2020 to October 2021.

Previously, they held the role of Accounting Manager at eMotorWerks, Inc from May 2017 to June 2018. Jose also worked as a Senior Fund Accountant at Sunrun from April 2015 to May 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Consultant at The Melt from July 2014 to March 2015.

Jose's earlier experience includes serving as a Finance Consultant at Ebates in 2014, where they assisted with various financial tasks such as balance sheet accounts reconciliation, expense allocations, and intercompany reconciliation. Jose was also a GL Accountant at Chemoil Corporation from January 2012 to March 2014, and a Financial Accountant at Dealogic from August 2010 to December 2011.

Jose Medina graduated from Rutgers University - Newark in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
