In 2011, they joined Google as an account executive. During their time at Google, they held various positions in product strategy and development, corporate strategy, and strategic partnerships. In 2015, they co-founded IvoryLace, a social media platform for women. After a year, they returned to Google as Americas Product Strategy and Solutions lead. In 2020, they left Google to join Grid AI as their Vice President of Business Development & Operations.

Most recently, in 2021, Brothers returned to Starface World as their SVP of Strategic Initiatives.

Kara Brothers has a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and a Master of Business Administration from New York University - Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
