Gene Wey is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in solid modeling and product development. At StarFish Medical since January 2007, Gene specializes in SolidWorks and design verification through simulation techniques. Prior to this role, Gene worked as a Mechanical Designer at Nicholson Manufacturing from April 2005 to December 2006, focusing on transferring 2D drawings to solid models using AutoDesk Inventor and designing heavy equipment components. Gene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, earned between 2000 and 2006, and has foundational education from the College of New Caledonia in 1999 to 2000.
