Alex Gonring

Alex Gonring is a GNC Engineer at Starfish Space since March 2022, focusing on the development of relative navigation systems. Previously, as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at The Aerospace Corporation from July 2016 to March 2022, Alex provided technical analyses for government and military clients and performed navigation-related analyses, including orbit determination and state estimation. Prior experience includes a Systems Engineer role at Omitron Inc. supporting real-time operations for launch vehicles and a similar position at a.i. solutions. Alex began a career in product development as a New Product Development Engineer Co-op at Enerpac. Alex holds a Master's degree in Astrodynamics and Space Applications from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
