Ryan Henderson

Principal Systems Architect at Starfish Space

Ryan Henderson is the current Principal Systems Architect at Starfish Space. Ryan has previously worked as a Sr Systems Engineer (Performance) at Lockheed Martin from May 2018 to March 2021, where they extensively shaped hypersonic trajectories and optimized flight phases based on aero, structural, and thermal constraints. Ryan also developed and tested several G&C algorithms. At Raytheon Company from November 2015 to April 2018, they performed sensitivity analyses on various missile configurations and developed corresponding trade spaces for optimization. Ryan has also worked as a Development Engineer at Systima Technologies, Inc. from January 2014 to December 2015, and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Purdue University from January 2013 to December 2014.

Ryan Henderson has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.

Their manager is Trevor Bennett, Co-Founder. Ryan Henderson works with Kit Kennedy - Principal Autonomy Engineer, Brendan Hagan - Director of Software Engineering, and Nicolas Chu - GNC Engineer.
