Marko Virkebau

Marko Virkebau is a seasoned entrepreneur and financial expert currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Stargate Hydrogen, which specializes in high-efficiency alkaline electrolysis solutions for green hydrogen production. With a strong background in finance and management, Marko has held key positions including Co-Founder, CFO, and COO at MeetFrank, and CFO at MM Grupp OÜ, one of the largest family offices in the Baltics. Marko has also contributed to various supervisory boards, including Semetron AS and Postimees Grupp, demonstrating a diverse portfolio across healthcare, media, and technology sectors. Academically, Marko holds a Master's degree from TalTech and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by PhD-level coursework in Economics and Finance.
