Peter Ries

Peter Ries has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

Peter currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at STARK Deutschland, starting in April 2021.

Prior to this, Peter worked at Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland GmbH for almost 19 years. Peter held the role of Leiter IT Service Management und IT-Infrastruktur, Web&Applications-Security from December 2002 to March 2021.

Before that, they worked at Saint-Gobain Rohrsysteme as the Leiter IT und Organisation from July 2001 to November 2002.

Peter'searlier experience includes working as Leiter EDV und Organisation at Max Sebold GmbH from May 1994 to June 2001.

Throughout their career, Peter has gathered extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of IT and organization management.

Peter Ries attended Pforzheim University from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) degree with a focus on Betriebsorganisation und Wirtschaftsinformatik.
