James Luiken

James Luiken has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James began their career as a Systems Analyst and Developer at TransAlta Utilities in 1988. James then moved on to roles in Holistic Systems and Seagate Software, where they gained experience in presales consulting and software sales support. James continued to pursue opportunities in the field of Business Intelligence, holding positions at Crystal Decisions and Business Objects, where they led sales consulting teams and contributed to significant revenue growth. In 1999, they started their own construction company called Northern Lights Construction LLC, which they operated until 2005. From 2004 to 2006, James worked as a Principal Sales Consultant at Aim Technology. James then transitioned to AIMCO, where they served as the Senior Director of Development, National Energy Programs for over a decade until September 2019. Currently, James is working as the Project Director National Accounts at Stark Tech.

James Luiken completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems at the Haskayne School of Business. James then pursued a Master of Science degree in Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2006 to 2007.
