Thierry MATHIEU (aka Thierry STARK)

Thierry MATHIEU (aka Thierry STARK) has held a variety of roles in the scientific and medical fields since 1990. From 1990-1996, they were the CEO and Lab Director of Laboratoire MATHIEU and Laboratoire Schaffner. In 1998, they founded CLINORD and served as a Hygienist. From 2004-2009, they were the CMO France (Directeur médical France) and an Administrateur Membre A at LABCO DIAGNOSTICS. In 2009, they founded and became Chairman of STARK Innovation & Management, a holding company investing in laboratories, biotech, and healthcare companies. From 2011-2017, they were the Lab Director and Chairman of SYNLAB Hauts-de-France. In 2017, they became a Conseiller Scientifique at SYNLAB France, where they identified, evaluated, set up, and developed Private-Public partnerships with leading academic medical organizations. Additionally, they became a Member of the Conseil d'Administration de l'IPL at the Institut Pasteur de Lille, where they actively participated in the development of IPL's new focus area: longevity and "aging better". Thierry also founded and became Chairman of StarkAge Therapeutics in 2018.

Thierry Mathieu (aka Thierry Stark) completed their MD and PhD in Biologie médicale from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology between 1978 and 1990. Thierry then completed a DU "Approches fondées sur le NGS et application au diagnostic génétique" from Université Paris Cité between 2017 and 2018. Between 2011 and 2012, they completed Stages de perfectionnement: techniques de biologie moléculaire et diagnostic médical from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Thierry also completed a DIU in Biology of Reproduction from Pierre and Marie Curie University between 1999 and 2000, as well as a DIU Hygiène hospitalière et infections nosocomiales from Sorbonne Université between 1997 and 1998.
