Tamar Magnes

Tamar Magnes has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Tamar currently holds a position in the Sales Division at STARK. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Design at JD Fine & Company from April 2019 to April 2021. From September 2016 to April 2019, they worked as the Design Director at Three Dots LLC. Tamar also held the role of Vice President of Design at St. John Knits from March 2015 to May 2016. Before that, they worked at ANN Taylor as the Senior Design Director for Dresses, Weddings, and Events from September 2011 to December 2014. Tamar gained valuable experience at Oscar de la Renta as the Director of Textiles, Embroidery, Jewelry, and Made to Order from September 2007 to December 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Designer at Martin + Osa and Carolina Herrera. Tamar started their career as an Associate Designer at Bill Blass Couture from June 2000 to February 2003.

Tamar Magnes completed a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program at Parsons School of Design - The New School from 1996 to 2000. Tamar graduated with honors and was recognized as the Designer of the Year in 2000. Their field of study was Fashion Design.
