Asive Nyoka is currently a Junior Biotechnologist at Starke Ayres, where they assist in crop breeding programmes by analyzing crop genotype data. Prior to this, they worked as a Biotechnology Graduate at #ONO and as a Research Intern at the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity. Asive holds a BSc in Biochemistry/Advanced Cell Biology, Applied Bioinformatics, and Microbiology/Biotechnology from the University of the Witwatersrand, and is currently pursuing Occasional Studies in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Cape Town.
