Al Ganeshkumar

Al Ganeshkumar is an accomplished audio system design engineer with extensive experience in audio and digital signal processing across several prominent companies. Currently serving as the Lead Audio System Design Engineer at Starkey Hearing since April 2022, Al is responsible for leading audio system design for next-generation hearing aids. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made at Bose Corporation, where Al held multiple engineering leadership positions, including Principal Applied Research Engineer and Principal Engineer DSP, focusing on innovative technologies such as voice pickup for consumer products and active engine harmonic cancellation for automotive applications. Al's earlier career includes impactful work at Shure Incorporated and Knowles Electronics, developing DSP algorithms and systems for professional audio and hearing aid applications. Al holds a PhD candidacy from the University of Southampton in Digital Signal Processing, complemented by a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
