Mark Schroeder

Mark Schroeder is a seasoned engineer and academic with extensive experience in biomedical engineering, machine learning, and hardware technology development. Currently a Principal Hardware Technology Development Engineer at Starkey Hearing, Schroeder previously served as a Biomedical Engineering Consultant at Cardialen, Inc, where algorithms for analyzing cardiac signals were developed. Prior consulting roles included applying machine learning methods at Fourware, LLC and algorithm development at Appareo Systems. An academic background includes a tenure as an Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University, where courses in biomedical/neural engineering and entrepreneurship were taught. With a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Schroeder also founded Myriad Devices, contributing to his entrepreneurial endeavors in technology.
