Cindee Starkie, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and content development. Cindee is currently the VP of Marketing & Communications at Starlight Children's Foundation.
Prior to their current role, Cindee held various positions at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, including Vice President of Marketing & Communications, where they led a successful team in analyzing customer and business needs and developing marketing plans to drive sales and revenue growth. Cindee also served as Vice President of Content Development, overseeing content marketing initiatives, brand strategy, media strategy, and budgeting. Cindee was also the Managing Director and Senior Director of Content Development, where they demonstrated their ability to create innovative marketing strategies across multiple channels and platforms.
Before their time at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Cindee worked at Krispy Kreme as the Director of Fundraising and Community Affairs, where they developed the business plan for the company's community and corporate social responsibility programs and managed all CSR and cause-marketing activities. Cindee successfully implemented partnerships with organizations such as Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, United Way, and local schools.
Cindee started their career at Salt Lake County Aging Services as a Public Relations professional, implementing PR campaigns and publicizing various programs for the organization. Cindee also worked with the Salt Lake County Mayor's office to write press releases, media alerts, and other publicity materials.
As an intern at the Salt Lake City Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Cindee was responsible for managing the public relations campaign for the Daffodil Days fundraiser, as well as supporting other programs of the organization.
Throughout their career, Cindee has consistently demonstrated their expertise in marketing, communications, content development, and fundraising, resulting in revenue growth and increased brand awareness for the organizations they have worked with.
Cindee Starkie, MBA, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Utah. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business, a program they are currently enrolled in.
