Gelena Kilosanidze

Senior Software Engineer at STARLIMS

Gelena Kilosanidze has had a diverse work experience. Gelena started their career as a Junior Fellow Researcher at the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences in 1994 and worked there until October 1999. Gelena then joined the Karolinska Institutet as a Researcher in 2001 and stayed there until 2007. In July 2009, Gelena joined STARLIMS as a Senior Software Engineer, and their employment there is currently ongoing.

Gelena Kilosanidze's education history includes various academic achievements. Gelena obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biophysics and Physics from Ivane Javahišvilis Sakhelobis Tbilisis Sakhelmtsipo Universiteti, from 1989 to 1994. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology at the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences, from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Gelena engaged in Qualified Vocational Education specializing in Oracle Database Development at Academedia Masters in Stockholm, between 2007 and 2009.
