Viorel Piciu

Viorel Piciu began their work experience in the year 2000 at Prosoft SRL, where they served as a Java Programmer for a period of three years. In 2004, they joined STARLIMS as a Software Tester. After six years, they transitioned to the role of Software Validation Specialist, which they currently hold.

Viorel Piciu has a diverse education history. In 1985, they attended Universitatea "Dunărea de Jos" din Galați, where they obtained a degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanics. In 2003, they completed a Certificate in Software Quality Assurance at Bois de Boulogne College Montreal. The following year, in 2004, they took a Course in the Java Programming Language at McGill University.

In recent years, Viorel has engaged in online education. Viorel earned an Honor Code Certificate in Computer Science and Python from MIT through edX (MITx) in 2013. In 2014, they obtained an additional Honor Code Certificate from edX for Programming with C#. Furthermore, they completed a Certificate of Achievement - ID Verified in Embedded Systems through The University of Texas System via edX in 2014.
