Brian Wanek

Brian Wanek has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering and design. Brian is currently working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Starry, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Designer from June 2020 to December 2021.

From July 2017 to August 2021, Brian served as a Technical Project Lead and Mechanical, Thermal, and System Design Engineer at Wafer.

Before that, they were the Powertrain Sub-Team Lead at MIT FSAE from September 2014 to June 2017. Brian also had internships at Ford as a PD RIC Intern in 2016 and at Dassault Systèmes as a Technical Support Intern in 2015.

In addition, Brian worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnology from January 2014 to May 2014.

Brian Wanek attended Kennett High School from 2009 to 2013. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Brian also obtained several certifications in SolidWorks from Dassault Systèmes, including being a Certified SolidWorks Expert, Certified SolidWorks Associate, and Certified SolidWorks Professional, all obtained in 2015.
