Roel de Bont

Roel de Bont is an experienced professional in eCommerce and online sales, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Stars and Stories® since September 2021. At HARMAN International, Roel has held the position of Director Ecommerce EMEA since May 2012, where responsibilities include strategy, planning, management, performance, and execution of a Direct to Consumer eCommerce business across more than 45 sites, while leading a team focused on various aspects of online marketing and sales. Previous roles include Online Sales Manager at TomTom, where Roel managed sales of navigation devices in Europe, as well as several positions at Canon Europe, including European Web Planning & Strategy Manager. Roel holds a Drs. degree in Business Economics with specializations in Marketing and Logistics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
