Griselda Galvan, PsyD has a diverse range of work experience in the mental health field. Griselda started their career as an AVID Tutor in the Centinela Valley Unified School District, where they mentored and tutored high school students. Griselda then worked as a Spanish Instructional Aid in the Simi Valley Unified School District, providing academic support and assistance to children with language barriers.

In 2011, Griselda became an MFT Trainee at California Lutheran University, where they provided low-cost therapy to the community, specializing in victims in abusive relationships. Griselda also worked as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Psychotherapy and Consulting Services, seeing individuals, couples, families, and children for psychotherapy sessions.

Griselda gained further experience as a Mental Health Specialist II at Stars Behavioral Health Group, primarily working with clients in a clinical capacity. Griselda also served as an Assessment Lead, Clinical Supervisor, and Director of Administrative Services at the same organization, demonstrating their growth and leadership skills.

Throughout their career, Griselda has taught as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Argosy University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, sharing their knowledge and expertise with aspiring mental health professionals.

Griselda has also worked as a Bilingual Clinical Intake Coordinator at The Help Group, where they coordinated the intake process for new clients and wrote initial client assessments and treatment plans.

Griselda Galvan, PsyD, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chicano/a Studies at UC Santa Barbara from 2006 to 2009. Griselda then pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy at California Lutheran University from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they obtained a PsyD in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School between 2012 and 2016.
