W. David Chu

W. David Chu, MD has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. W. David was the Medical Director at Stars Behavioral Health Group starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Access Community Healthcare Center from 2018. W. David was also the Managing Partner at New Foundation Medical Group from 2016. Dr. Chu held various roles at Orange County Global Medical Center, including Department Chair of Psychiatry from 2018 and Medical Director from 2016 to 2020. W. David was the Medical Director at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital starting in 2019 and at Chapman Global Medical Center starting in 2017. Dr. Chu also served as the Associate Medical Director at Windstone Behavior Health from 2016. W. David was the Medical Director at Southern California Hospitals from 2017 to 2023. Lastly, they held the position of Medical Director at Anaheim Global Medical Center from 2016 to 2020 and at Los Angeles Community Hospital from 2016 to 2019.

W. David Chu, MD completed their education in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. W. David received their Residency training in Psychiatry from the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2008 to 2011. Subsequently, they completed a Fellowship in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program at UC Irvine from 2011 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained board certification in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and General Adult Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. in 2012. W. David also holds medical licenses from the Medical Board of California since 2008 and the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners, which they obtained in 2023.
