Carolina Newton is an accomplished professional in relationship management and entrepreneurial mentorship, currently serving as a Mentor for START Global since December 2023. Carolina has held key positions at several reputable organizations, including Senior Relationship Manager at Bergos AG and Senior Platform Specialist at Halo Investing Europe. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of a consultancy, carolinanewton.com, with projects involving multiple clients such as GENTWO AG and Acredius AG. Carolina's background also includes significant roles at Emcore AG, Vontobel, Associated Foreign Exchange, Travelex, and Siemens. Carolina is pursuing a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Social Sciences - Economics at Harvard University, building on a previous credential in Economics, Business Analytics, and Finance from Harvard Business School Online.

START Global is building the seeding ground for entrepreneurial talent. Our non-profit student initiative was established in 1996 at the University of St. Gallen. Since then, we have built a community of like-minded founders and entrepreneurial-minded individuals deeply embedded in Europe's startup ecosystem. Our organization hosts the annual START Summit x Hack, organizes the START Fellowship program, and connects entrepreneurial minds. Through these efforts, we aim to unleash the innovative potential of entrepreneurial ecosystems. Since 2016, START has been supported by the START Foundation and its advisory board, which includes ten distinguished Swiss entrepreneurs and investors, amongst others, Daniel Gutenberg, Urs Wietlisbach and Florian Schweitzer.
