Starting Off
Helen Deacon has over 26 years of experience in various roles within the education and training sector. Helen has worked as an IT Trainer, Administration Manager, and is currently the AAT Programme Manager at Starting Off. Helen has been involved in the development and management of various apprenticeship training programs and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Visual Studies from the University of Central Lancashire.
Starting Off
Starting Off, established in 1989, is a recruitment and training company specialising in Trainees, Apprentices and Graduates. Starting Off has offices in Northampton and Kettering and offers a service across Northamptonshire and in the areas just over the County borders. The company has a contract with the Skills Funding Agency for Apprenticeships of all ages. On average, Starting Off are responsible for delivering training to 250 office based Apprentices across Northants at any one time. In December 2014 Starting Off won the Longstanding Business of the Year at the Northants Business Awards.
